The Savvy Baker has confirmed that its new store at Trinity Leeds will open on Sunday, 7 December.
The opening marks a key step for the Leeds-founded bakery, which began during lockdown and has since grown into a well-known independent brand across Yorkshire.
The new location, situated on Albion Street within Trinity Leeds, will introduce new features for the business. These include an on-site cookie bakery where customers can watch cookies being baked throughout the day.
The store will also feature a dedicated matcha bar, reflecting the increasing popularity of the drink among customers. Visitors will be able to watch drinks prepared fresh by baristas.
The menu will include the bakery’s full selection of brownies, blondies and rotating seasonal items, as well as exclusive treats available only at this branch. The café will also serve a full range of hot drinks using coffee supplied by North Star, with seating available for customers wishing to enjoy items in-store.
Founder Savannah Roqaa said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be finally opening our doors at Trinity Leeds this Sunday. This city has supported us from day one and we can’t wait to bring our brownies to the heart of Leeds. The new store represents how far the brand has come – and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”
As part of the launch, the first 100 visitors on opening day will receive a complimentary brownie.
Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said: “The Savvy Baker is a brilliant example of the talent and creativity coming out of Leeds, and we’re delighted to welcome the brand into the Trinity Leeds family. We’re proud to support an independent business that has grown with such energy and passion, and we know our visitors will be just as excited as we are to see The Savvy Baker finally open its doors.”
The Savvy Baker will open from 8am – 9pm Monday – Saturday, and 9am – 7pm on Sundays. For more information on The Savvy Baker and Trinity Leeds, please visit: https://www.trinityleeds.com/en
