Tim Hortons, the renowned restaurant chain, has broadened its culinary horizons with the launch of flatbread pizza in its Canadian outlets. This latest addition follows meticulous trials at various locations including Mississauga, Ontario, leading to the finalisation of four distinct pizza flavours.

From 1 May 2024, patrons will also have the convenience of ordering these flatbread pizzas for delivery through the Tim Hortons app.

Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons, shared her enthusiasm about the new product: “We’ve been working hard on developing new and exciting menu innovations for lunch and dinner at Tims… – and now after a thorough process of testing and recipe fine-tuning, we’re so excited to be launching Flatbread Pizzas for our guests across Canada.”

The menu introduces four enticing flavours, all served on a roasted garlic flatbread base.

The Bacon Everything Flatbread Pizza, available for $7.99, boasts a topping of double-smoked bacon, herb and garlic cream cheese, a mix of mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, crowned with Everything Seasoning.

For the same price, the Chicken Parmesan Flatbread Pizza features slow-cooked chicken, Parmesan cheese, a combination of mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, and a rich vine-ripened tomato sauce.

The Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza, similarly priced at $7.99, combines pepperoni slices with mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses atop vine-ripened tomato sauce.

For those preferring a simpler taste, the Simply Cheese Flatbread Pizza is a vegetarian-friendly option priced at $6.99, laden with mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses and vine-ripened tomato sauce.

Bagozzi further commented: “Our Flatbread Pizzas are perfect for any occasion. They’re a really satisfying workday lunch for yourself and also make for a crowd-pleasing option for family dinners or weekend gatherings by picking up a few boxes with a mix of flavours. They’re also great to share as a snack with family and friends.”

In addition to the pizzas, February 2024 saw the introduction of two new items to the Tim Hortons menu: the Sweet Chilli Chicken Loaded Wrap and the Loaded Bowl, featuring grains, lettuce, fresh diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and options for crispy or slow-cooked chicken, or a vegetarian version.
