Newcastle has officially levelled up! A brand new street food spot and arcade has launched in the city as of today, Monday 24th June 2024. The Scottish foodie favourites, Smokey Trotters, and retro gaming hub, Big Fang Arcade, are now open within the seriously twisted crazy golf course, cocktail bar & graffiti cathedral, Golf Fang.

Following the success of its kitchen takeover in Glasgow, Big Fang Collective has introduced Smokey Trotters and its cult following to the Newcastle venue, bringing their famed stacked burgers and sandwiches, tenders, wings and fries to the city.

Famed for their stacked burgers and sandwiches, tenders, wings and fries, Smokey Trotters have teamed up with seriously twisted, crazy golf venue Golf Fang to bring their foodie favourite street food menu to a whole new audience in a brand new city, creating the ultimate date night spot in Newcastle.

The cult favourite kitchen is home to a variety of iconic burgers – including The Dirty Dipper; loaded with pepper sauce mayo, crispy onions and haggis (of course), The Odyssey; piled high with Stornoway black pudding, caramelised onions and truffle mayo, plus a selection of chicken burgers like The Drippin Chicken; a fusion of salt & chilli fried chicken, American cheese, onions, curried mayo, crispy onions and satay sauce!
For its veggie and vegan fans to get their fix, the menu features a range of ‘Nae Meat Burgers’, including Korean Chickpea; with gochujang, garlic mayo and Asian slaw, or its Salt N Chilli Chickpea; topped with curried mayo, onions lettuce and fake cheese.
Aside from the mouthwatering burgers, the exciting menu also hosts a plethora of drenched chicken tenders (Korean-style, Salt n Chilli, Truffle Oil & Parmesan, and Hot Wans), grilled cheese sandwiches with mouth watering fillings, plus crazy loaded fries.

Menu items start from just £4.50 for their much-loved sides. Beef and chicken burgers start from £11, grilled cheese sandwiches start from £7, and chicken tenders are all priced at £7.50.

The kitchen takeover makes for a perfect companion to Golf Fang’s iconic drinks menu, and the best pre or post-golf bite!
