The award-winning London restaurant and charitable organisation is set to bring its uplifting blend of vegetarian and vegan cuisine, Bhakti-inspired wellness, and mantra music to Birmingham this November.

This November, OMNOM — the renowned vegetarian and vegan restaurant and wellness charity from Islington, London — will open its second venue in Birmingham, a city celebrated for its cultural energy, creativity, and community spirit.

At twice the size of its Islington flagship, OMNOM Birmingham will unite everything that has made the brand so distinctive: vibrant Indian-inspired dishes, soulful mantra music evenings, community wellbeing events, and a deep dedication to giving back.

As a registered charity, OMNOM operates on a simple yet powerful philosophy — for every meal served, a child in need receives a meal in a developing part of the world.*

The Birmingham location will also introduce OMspace, a purpose-built studio and event venue designed for yoga, meditation, talks, workshops, and private gatherings. This serene setting will provide a haven for balance, creativity, and self-discovery.

In London, OMNOM has already become a sought-after cultural hub, hosting book launches, live podcast recordings, comedy nights, and panel discussions — all within a warm, welcoming environment infused with spiritual and artistic energy. The new Birmingham site will build upon this legacy, with an expanded calendar of cultural and community-led experiences.

OMNOM’s richly flavoured, colourful menu is a celebration of India’s culinary heritage, crafted in partnership with Namaste Village — a highly regarded Indian vegetarian restaurant group known for its authenticity and joyful approach to food. With six sites across the UK, including the newly opened Namaste Village Oxford, the collaboration ensures OMNOM Birmingham delivers both depth and delight in every dish.

The restaurant will feature a striking 150-cover dining area, positioning it among the largest meat-free Indian restaurants in the country. The open-plan design will include a lively dining zone, an inviting bar, a lush conservatory, and a private dining space accommodating up to 200 guests — ideal for special occasions, private celebrations, and interactive cookery workshops that explore the art of plant-based Indian cuisine.

Adding to its unique character, OMNOM Birmingham will include a traditional low-seating area next to the bar, handcrafted from timber and adorned with plush Indian-made cushions. This intimate corner offers guests a cosy space to enjoy high chai or unwind with a peaceful meal before or after a wellness class — an embodiment of OMNOM’s ethos of mindful indulgence and cultural authenticity.

Behind the restaurant lies OmLife — the spiritual and communal heart of the brand — curating Soulful Sundays, retreats, and gatherings inspired by Bhakti Yoga, the ancient yoga of devotion and service. OmLife’s experienced community of teachers and practitioners create meaningful experiences that inspire genuine connection, wellness, and inner growth.

OMNOM founder Yuvi Rana says; “OMNOM began in Islington as an idea, to create a restaurant that feeds more than the body. We wanted to bring the timeless wisdom of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love and devotion, into a modern, accessible setting. To show that spirituality isn’t abstract, it’s something you can taste, feel, and live every day. Our new Birmingham home — at twice the size of our London flagship — will allow us to expand that vision. With our new OMspace for wellbeing events and yoga, a restaurant dedicated to compassionate cuisine, and a continued commitment to feeding children in need across the world, OMNOM Birmingham will be a celebration of amazing food, wellbeing events and community. Birmingham is a city full of life, heart, and creative spirit. We’re honoured to plant roots here and to invite everyone, whether you’re curious, spiritual, or just hungry to be part of this journey of food, love, and purpose.”

Namaste Village founder Vijay Jetani says, “OMNOM and Namaste Village share deeply aligned values, those of kindness, compassion, and seva, the spirit of service to humanity. As a charitable organisation dedicated to mindfulness and wellbeing, OMNOM embodies these ideals in every aspect of its work. Our collaboration through Namaste @ OMNOM has been a true reflection of these shared principles, blending conscious cuisine with mindful living. Given these driving values and intentions, OMNOM’s growth and success was only a matter of time. We are genuinely proud to be part of this journey and look forward to continuing to work alongside them, bringing their inspiring message of wellness, community, and plant-based living to Birmingham.”

With space dedicated to dining, reflection, music, movement, and conversation, OMNOM Birmingham is set to become a beacon for the city’s conscious and creative community — a space to eat beautifully, live mindfully, and serve joyfully.
