Dal Fiorentino has launched its fourth London location, this time in the heart of Holborn. Situated at 20–23 Viaro House, EC1N 2JD, the new opening is the group’s largest site so far, joining its popular Fitzrovia, Brick Lane, and Hoxton venues. Specialising in traditional Florentine Schiacciata, the menu is packed with gourmet sandwich creations that are nothing short of belissimo.
Founded in 2022 by husband-and-wife duo Andrei and Cristina, Dal Fiorentino was born from the desire to share the flavours of their hometown of Florence with Londoners. Schiacciata, a much-loved flatbread from Tuscany and Umbria, is a staple of Florentine street food culture. At Dal Fiorentino, each Schiacciata is freshly baked and generously filled with some of Italy’s most celebrated ingredients—Buffalo Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomatoes, Salami, Parma Ham, homemade Pesto and more—delivering a true taste of Italy in every bite.
The Holborn site seats up to 35 guests, offering both dine-in and takeaway options. With over 15 sandwich choices, all prepared in plain sight, the process is as enjoyable to watch as it is to eat. Every ingredient is sliced, seasoned, and assembled to order, showcasing genuine care and culinary craftsmanship.
For those who love cured meats, standout favourites include the MACHIAVELLI with Tuscan Pancetta, Stracciatella Cheese, Nduja Cream, and Grilled Courgettes; the DA VINCI with Mortadella, Whole Burrata, and Pistachio Pesto; and the signature LA FIORENTINA with Fennel Salami, Pecorino, and Truffle Honey. Vegetarians are equally spoilt for choice with options like the GINEVRA featuring Buffalo Mozzarella, Beef Tomatoes, and Fresh Basil, or the IL MAGNIFICO with Whole Burrata, Pistachio Pesto, and Rocket. Vegans can enjoy the GIOTTO, layered with Black Olive Spread, Beef Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The Holborn location also introduces a dedicated coffee counter, making it a perfect stop for your morning espresso or afternoon pick-me-up. Open until 8pm, the venue doubles as a relaxed early evening hangout, offering charcuterie boards from midday alongside a curated selection of wine and beer—making it an ideal place to settle in and stay awhile.
