A Scottish company has won a national award for its functional mushroom brand.
Love Mushrooms has won Best Supplement Editor’s Choice in the Vegan Food & Living’s Product Awards for its Lion’s Mane tincture. The annual product awards celebrate excellence in the UK vegan market.
There were 19 categories, ranging from best vegan snacks to meat alternatives and desserts. Each product was rated on taste, texture and consistency to find out which ones stood out.
Judges praised the Scottish made brand’s great taste, cost effectiveness and health benefits, including improved focus.
Love Mushrooms is a range of high-quality tinctures and capsules which are all made on an organic mushroom farm and laboratory on Marcassie Farm in Forres, Scotland, near the Cairngorms National Park.
The brand uniquely uses ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE), which is the most efficient extraction method and preserves the natural compounds to ensure high purity and stronger extracts. Its tinctures are the only British made alcohol-free tinctures, ensuring a great taste.
The Love Mushrooms range includes Reishi, Cordyceps and Lion’s Mane, which are all celebrated for their health benefits. Research shows that functional mushrooms can help with concentration, stress, anxiety, energy and immunity.
