Jumeirah Carlton Tower, located in the heart of prestigious Knightsbridge, announces it will be the event partner of Christie’s London, the art and luxury auction house, for the highly anticipated exhibition “Marwan: A Soul in Exile.” This cultural partnership blends world-class hospitality with the power of fine art, offering guests and visitors a unique experience that honours the life and legacy of Syrian artist Marwan Kassab-Bachi.

Taking place at Christie’s international headquarters from Wednesday, 16 July to Friday 22 August, the exhibition marks the third instalment of Christie’s Arab Art Summer Exhibition. With over 150 works from Marwan’s oeuvre, it provides a rare and moving exploration of Marwan’s artistic journey, renowned for his deeply expressive portraiture and profound reflections on exile, identity, and the human condition. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view works on loan from prominent institutions and private collections in Europe and the Middle East, curated by Dr Ridha Moumni, Christie’s Chairman Middle East & Africa.

As the official hospitality partner of the exhibition, Jumeirah Carlton Tower will curate bespoke experiences to run alongside the exhibition. Central to this collaboration, The Collector’s Stay invites guests to indulge in luxurious accommodations in elegantly appointed suites, a private guided tour of the exhibition, and a culinary journey inspired by the artist’s cultural heritage. Guests will also have access to the hotel’s award-winning spa and wellness facilities, blending relaxation with cultural discovery. Visitors to Christie’s will be invited to experience a specially designed pop-up coffee bar within the elegant exhibition space, offering a sophisticated setting that enhances the artistic ambiance. Not to mention two limited edition cakes, Arabica, featuring arabica 100% coffee pastry cream, pistachio and cardamom crémeux and sesame, tahini croustillant, £18.00, and Diplomate Rose, which includes, pistachio and cardamom crémeux, olive oil sponge, and a vanilla whipped crème, £18.00, each one more tantalising than the last.
