Applied Nutrition, one of the UK’s leading sports nutrition, health, and wellness brands, has announced the appointment of Sophie Pugh as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Sophie brings with her a wealth of experience from The Hut Group (THG), where she spent nine years within the Nutrition division and most recently held the role of Managing Director of Performance & Wellness. During her tenure, she oversaw global product marketing strategies and spearheaded cross-functional campaigns for major brands including Myprotein and Myvitamins, driving innovation and growth across THG’s wellness portfolio.
With an extensive background in digital commerce, brand development, and consumer engagement within the health and fitness sector, Sophie will lead Applied Nutrition’s marketing vision and strategy. Her focus will be on strengthening brand affinity, accelerating international growth, and ensuring the company continues to lead the way in performance nutrition.
Her appointment represents a significant milestone in Applied Nutrition’s global growth journey. Drawing on her strategic insight and industry expertise, Sophie will play a pivotal role in advancing the brand’s expansion and reinforcing its position as a worldwide leader in sports nutrition.
