Award-winning bar group makes its London debut
Arc Inspirations, the award-winning bar operator, has officially launched BOX Piccadilly, marking the brand’s first venue in London and a significant step in its national growth plans.
Situated on Shaftesbury Avenue, the £4 million venue spans 7,200 square feet and introduces BOX’s distinctive Watch, Play, Party experience to the capital, reshaping the traditional sports bar format with a lively, modern approach.
The venue extends across three floors and will feature an extensive calendar of live sports screenings, showcasing major events including leading NFL fixtures, Premier League, Champions League and La Liga football, as well as Formula 1, rugby, and cricket. Throughout November, all matches from the Autumn Internationals 2025 Rugby will also be broadcast.
BOX Piccadilly will be led by General Manager Christie Carlitos, who brings extensive hospitality management experience from roles across London. Christie has previously held leadership positions at PizzaExpress, Mitchells & Butlers, and Be at One venues in Mayfair and the West End. Most recently, Christie served as General Manager at The Blues Kitchen in the City.
BOX Piccadilly, General Manager, Christie Carlitos, said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role. The team at BOX are extremely talented and committed to delivering the very best experience for our guests.
“Arc Inspirations and the BOX brand have a great reputation across the North and the Midlands, and I’m excited to help build on this now it has launched in London. With the help of the team, we are passionate about creating a space where people feel welcome, are looked after and can watch, play and party.”
Arc Inspirations Co-Founder and CEO, Martin Wolstencroft, said: “We have officially opened the doors to our new BOX Piccadilly venue. It has been months of hard work from the team to get us to this point, and opening BOX is a very proud moment for our team.”
“We’re also thrilled to welcome Christie as General Manager. Christie knows the London hospitality space inside out and his experience makes him the perfect person for the job. We are now looking forward to delivering a space where Londoners can watch their favourite sports, enjoy some brilliant live music, play games and indulge in a fantastic food and drink menu.”
BOX also offers a range of competitive socialising games on the mezzanine level, including Electric Darts and Shuffleboard, plus three SUPERBOX karaoke rooms spread across the ground and basement floors, which can be used for karaoke, private sports viewing, party celebrations and meetings. Live music will run every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday on the ground and basement floors, and BOX’s signature Bandeoke event, where guests can sing on stage with a live band will take place every Thursday night.
The London launch marks a major milestone for the group, joining six other BOX locations in Leeds City Centre, Birmingham, Headingley, Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester.
