Frankie Sims joins forces with Frankie & Benny’s to celebrate their joint 30th birthday

Birthday girl and TOWIE star Frankie Sims has teamed up with iconic New York Italian restaurant – Frankie & Benny’s – to celebrate their joint big 30.  With bold flavours and big portions of delicious food, it’s where the love of good food happens.

And when the famous Frankie met resident chef Benny at Frankie & Benny’s Romford, it was Love At First Bite – with the  restaurant namesake duo making dishes from the brand-new menu to help guests celebrate their love of good food during this special anniversary year.

The glamorous birthday girl celebrated in style by tucking into the Frankie & Benny’s new menu, full of generous and indulgent dishes, saying that thirty has never tasted so good!

Frankie Sims says: I love to enjoy good food and dining out in a local restaurant is one of my all time favourite things to do. So when Frankie & Benny’s asked me to celebrate my 30th birthday with them I was already reaching for my party dress. Then when they handed me an apron and invited me into the kitchen to meet chef Ben, I was even more thrilled.  I can’t wait to share our new signature dishes with you all. Come hungry and I promise you’ll leave happy!

Frankie’s ‘Love at First Bite’ top picks from the new menu includes a generous and indulgent Frankie’s Faves Combo starter that’s perfect for two; a Mac Daddy Burger, filled with bacon, mac ‘n cheese and a Freakshake Sundae dessert, loaded with Oreo Cookie ice cream, mini sugared doughnuts, cream and chocolate sauce. Frankie says:“Chef Ben and I certainly whipped up a storm in the kitchen.  We really hope you enjoy tucking into our new menu choices and that it triggers some real love at first bite moments. As I celebrate turning 30, I can honestly say I’ve never been this in love and there is no date night I love more than a foody one where I get to enjoy all my favourite dishes.  If food be the language of love, then feast on at Frankie & Benny’s!”

According to Frankie, you can’t beat a romantic dinner date for two and scoffs at recent research suggesting one in four Gen Zs would rather go for a run than dine out on a first date. She says: “Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of horrendous first dates – doing something that involves active wear is a real no-no in my book. Restaurants are my perfect place to have fun and connect over good food – and the best are those that serve up hearty portions of amazing, freshly prepared food. New York Italian flavours are my favourite which is why I’m so excited to have partnered with Frankie & Benny’s to launch this new menu.”

Frankie, who turned 30 earlier this year, claims she has never been happier both with her personal relationship and her relationship with food, which is why she’s now on a mission to help others experience the same.

The new menu won’t just get your taste buds sizzling, it might just provide a little insight into the person you’re sharing with, because research suggests there’s a link between the way we eat and the way we act.

Frankie continues: “Apparently if you’re a slow eater it suggests you like to take time to enjoy the moment, which I quite like! Faster eaters are better multi-taskers, but they can be competitive, always on the go and rush to finish the task in hand which is a no go in my opinion.”

Picky eaters are seen as less adventurous, and then there are the ones that organise everything on their plate, which suggests they have a neat and tidy home but that they like to be in control. If they mix up their foods, they’re more likely to be outgoing and friendly.”

Both Frankie and chef Benny are excited to see how guests respond to the new menu, which is now available in all 50 Frankie & Benny’s restaurants nationwide. Frankie says,“I’m fascinated to see how people tuck in – will they eat the burger with their hands or tuck in with a knife and fork? That’s got to be a tell-tale sign of what they’re like in day to day life…And what about the sharing platter – will they take the last chicken wing? Will they double dip?  And as for the Sundae, who will get the cherry on top?!”

Frankie also feels women should not hold back from tucking in on a date night, even if they feel nervous, because good food is the language of love, that helps you feel relaxed and be yourself. She says: “I have a very hearty appetite. I like my date to finish everything on their plate so I don’t feel embarrassed when I do the same!”

Frankie concludes,“The best date nights only happen in the best restaurants with amazing food and a fun atmosphere…Frankie & Benny’s definitely hits the spot!”
