With its rich tapestry of flavours, regional diversity, and emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients, Italian cuisine is a central part of social gatherings in Italy.

At Luciano by Gino D’Acampo guests can experience a taste of the incredible country’s culture in the heart of the capital city, and savour real authentic Italian cuisine as it should be.  Dishes are available to be enjoyed in the venue’s beautiful open-plan restaurant and on the chic alfresco terrace.

Providing a fitting reason to come together is the leading Italian chef’s new seasonal menu.  Available now, it’s bursting with new delicious dishes, all made fatto in casa – fresh from scratch – and using the finest seasonal ingredients.

Opening the menu and serving as a pleasing introduction are several new antipasti plates.  From the Asparagi – seasonal asparagus served with a fried duck egg and pecorino to the Prosciutto Di Parma – Parma ham and honeydew melon with citrus, limoncello, and fresh mint; all are deliciously simple, letting the flavours of each seasonal ingredient lead every dish.

The restaurant’s Tartare Del Giorno – tartare of the day – delivers a further fresh and flavourful addition, with market fresh fish, responsibly caught from sustainable sources, served daily.

Hailing from Naples, Gino and his esteemed team of chefs naturally take pizza seriously, with the restaurant’s freshly made, real Neapolitan pizza a key feature on the menu.  There are two new additions this season – the Margherita Piccante Vegana, featuring vegan spicy ‘nduja and Superstraccia, San Marzano tomatoes, and fresh basil, and the Ragù – a rich and satisfying alternative featuring slow-cooked beef ragù with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh basil and creamy burrata di Puglia.

The new flavours continue to flow throughout the restaurant’s pasta and risotto dishes with three standout seasonal plates introduced.  These include Risotto Primavera – risotto mantecato with asparagus and sugar snap peas, caramelised garlic and extra virgin olive oil; Fettuccine Al Gamberoni – sautéed king prawns, fresh pistachio pesto, and baby plum tomatoes;  and Ravioli Con Spinaci E Ricotta – fresh filled pasta with spinach and ricotta, sage butter and toasted pine nuts.

For those looking for a truly show-stopping dining occasion, Gino’s theatre dishes, served tableside, are designed to be shared – providing a further taste of Italian culture.

Choose from the Risotto Pescatore – risotto mantecato with fresh seafood, wild red king prawns, mussels, clams, calamari, chilli, garlic and tomato; and the Spaghetti Al Tartufo – spaghetti alla chitarra with creamy black truffle and pecorino Romano sauce, presented in a pecorino Romano wheel.  Both serve two.

A selection of delicious Dalla Terra (meat) and Dal Mare (fish) dishes further complement the new seasonal menu, including Gino’s Agnello Alla Scottadito – grilled lamb cutlets with crispy guanciale, olives, honey, lemon and rosemary, and Scaloppine Di Pollo – pan fried chicken escalopes with garlic green beans, lemon and caper butter sauce.

For those with a love of fresh fish, the Salmone – roast Loch Duart salmon fillet with sautéed Scottish mussels and Martini Bianco cream sauce, is a fantastic choice.  The rich taste and buttery texture of the salmon works effortlessly with the shellfish.

In addition, there is a collection of new seasonal side dishes including Verdure Miste – sautéed sugar snap peas, tenderstem broccoli and fine beans with butter and fresh basil; Ceaser – a classic crisp salad including baby gem lettuce, ciabatta croutons, pecorino and classic Caesar dressing; and Broccoletti – sautéed tenderstem broccoli with fresh red chilli and garlic butter, to complement every plate.

Guests looking to enjoy a taste of the new dishes can do so for exceptional value when dining from the restaurant’s Fantastico menu.  Available between 12pm to 7pm every day, diners are invited to enjoy two courses from the special menu for just £25, providing ample time to savour the occasion along with the new seasonal flavours.

Wrap every meal with the sweet taste of Gino’s new and delicious Panna Cotta – smooth Italian cream with amaretto liqueur, fresh strawberries, and basil, and give in to the temptation of a post-dinner cocktail.

Shaken and stirred and ready for the new season, sip on one of a number of new drinks including an Elderflower and Blueberry Margarita – a blend of tequila, elderflower liqueur, lime and blueberry; a Mango and Passion Fruit Spritz – including a premium fruity aperitif, Prosecco, and lime soda; and  a Ginger and Yuzu Daiquiri – a blend of rum, a tart and fragrant Japanese liqueur, ginger, and lime.  Zero alcohol creations are also available.
