To celebrate Afternoon Tea Week this August, KNEAD Bakery will host a one-off afternoon tea experience at KNEAD Bakery Elkstone on Sunday 17th August, and will launch two exciting limited-edition scones across all KNEAD sites.
The KNEAD Bakery Elkstone’s afternoon tea experience, is priced at £29 and has been created exclusively by Head Pastry Chef, Mikey Topp, whose experience includes working in some of the Cotswolds’ most acclaimed kitchens including the Royal Crescent Hotel, and The Manor House Hotel where he won the Highly Commended Afternoon Tea Award by the Tea Guild. Known for his balance of flavour, finesse, and creativity, Mikey’s signature style paired with KNEAD’s renowned flavours will shine through this beautifully presented afternoon tea.

Promising a refined and indulgent take on the quintessentially British pastime. Guests can expect delicate patisserie, seasonal savouries, and a spread that’s as elegant as it is delicious. Standout dishes from the Afternoon Tea include the Chorizo, Fennel & Harissa Mini Danish with Honey & Chilli Glaze, the Strawberry, Vanilla & White Chocolate Gateaux, and the Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
Afternoon Tea with Mikey Topp will be served at 3PM or 3:30PM across KNEAD Elkstone’s main restaurant and their cosy, heated outdoor snug.
KNEAD Bakery will also be celebrating Afternoon Tea Week at their other sites in Cirencester, Oxford, Tetbury, and Tewkesbury with two exciting, limited-edition scones. Customers can enjoy a Bakewell-inspired scone, made with cherry-infused dough, topped with a sweet iced bun glaze and a sprinkle of toasted almonds, for £3.50. For those who prefer savoury flavours, KNEAD is also offering a rich Double Gloucester cheddar scone, with chives and a hint of Marmite, priced at £3.70.
