Award-winning crisp producer, Fairfields Farm, is proud to announce its new partnership with sustainability consultancy, Green Growth Limited. This new partnership marks a significant step in Fairfields Farm’s progress in addressing its carbon emissions and making more environmentally responsible business decisions to achieve long-term sustainability.

Green Growth works with businesses, authorities, educational providers, and more to support efficiency, sustainability, and care for the natural environment. The business was founded in 2024 by sustainability expert Becky Baines, who will work closely with Fairfields Farm to accelerate its environmental strategy, focusing on the increased use of renewable energy across its on-site factory and farm and enhancing biodiversity net gain. With extensive experience in the public sector on green initiatives, Becky will help Fairfields Farm enhance its resource efficiency and adapt to the growing environmental demands of its stakeholders.

This partnership aligns with the business’ ongoing efforts to enhance its sustainability initiatives and achieve net-zero emissions on-site by 2033. The company uses three generations of farming expertise to produce its premium crisps, made from homegrown potatoes and locally sourced flavourings. It also employs regenerative farming techniques, such as the “no plough” method and cover crops, to naturally capture carbon and grow healthier produce. Additionally, the farm has constructed reservoirs and a closed-loop underground piping network to minimise energy consumption in water distribution. It also uses fertiliser derived from byproducts of its on-site anaerobic digestion plant.

Becky Baines, founder of Green Growth Limited comments on the new partnership saying: “Fairfields Farm is already a sustainability frontrunner in UK agriculture and food production, and I’m thrilled to help push that even further. This partnership is about unlocking real impact, accelerating energy transition, restoring biodiversity, and embedding sustainability into every aspect of the business. It’s a privilege to work with a team so committed to long-term environmental leadership.”

Tash Jones, Commercial Director at Fairfields Farm also comments on the new partnership, saying “We’re really looking forward to partnering with Becky at Green Growth to help take our sustainability efforts to the next level. This partnership marks a bold new chapter for Fairfields Farm. Becky brings the expertise and energy we need to turn our sustainability ambitions into action. From expanding renewables to deepening our regenerative practices. We’ve always believed that great food starts with great stewardship of the land, and this collaboration will help bring this mindset to every area of the business.”
