A new study has revealed Instagram’s most influential tennis players, with Novak Djokovic taking the top spot.
Tennis statistics website Tennis Stats analyzed internal data to find the 50 highest ranking male and female tennis players. Each player’s Instagram handle was obtained and run through Inzpire’s Instagram pricing calculator to determine how much players would be paid for a single sponsored post. The players with the highest earning potential per post determined the final ranking.
Novak Djokovic ranks top, with a potential earning of $71,800 per sponsored Instagram post. The Serbian tennis star boasts an impressive 15.6 million followers on the platform and is currently ranked number six in the world. At 37 years old, Djokovic has earned an incredible $185,065,269 in prize money.
Carlos Alcaraz ranks second, with a potential earning of $35,850 per sponsored Instagram post. Ranked number three in the world, the 21-year-old Spaniard has 6.4 million Instagram followers and has taken home $36,062,555 in prize money.
Third in the ranking is Jannik Sinner, with a potential earning of $20,450 per sponsored Instagram post. At just 23 years old, the Italian world number one has accrued 3.1 million Instagram followers and has secured $29,108,484 in prize money.
Aryna Sabalenka ranks fourth, with a potential earning of $16,900 per sponsored Instagram post. The Belarusian number one leads the female stars and has 2.4 million followers on the platform. At 26 years old, Sabalenka has earned $29,071,823 in prize money.
