Yumpingo, the food intelligence platform, has announced a series of new contracts with high street restaurant chains and independents such as Bill’s, ASK Italian, Rosa’s Thai Café, BIRD and Mac & Wild. This announcement follows the platform’s success at the Casual Dining Show where it picked up Gold for its Intelligent Digital Bill in the Innovation Challenge Awards.
“Yumpingo are supporting our team to optimise all aspects of our guest experience. Yumpingo provides our business unique visibility to ensure our future investment decisions in new menus, new sites and refurbishments are made with more certainty than has been previously possible,” said Graham Ford, COO of Bill’s.
Yumpingo delivers more value from real-time customer feedback than any other platform by asking guests to complete a one-minute review at the end of their meal, either on Yumpingo devices or on their own devices. Up to 66% of tables take part with no incentive and 20% of guests leave a GDPR compliant email.
The data collected from these reviews allows restaurateurs to understand what their customers are really thinking across multiple sites and, by adding machine learning to this feedback, Yumpingo produces insights that enable them to optimise guest experiences at site, service, server and dish level.
“At a time when the restaurant industry is under significant pressure, we see an opportunity for Yumpingo to help brands de-risk decision making and deliver better food and service that will keep customers coming back for more,” commented Gary Goodman, founder and CEO of Yumpingo.
Yumpingo has also announced a partnership with Flyt to integrate with 14 EPOS platforms around the world including Micros, Zonal and Comtrex. Wahaca is the first brand to connect Yumpingo with their EPOS provider, which enables it to pull in digital bills for every table in live service. Yumpingo’s integration allows restaurants to track NPS and steps of service performance for every server, to provide personal improvement plans for each team member.
