Community Foods Shares Some Delicious Recipes

Community Foods, a range of Healthy, Organic and Natural snacks, has decided to share with us all a few extremely simple, yet delicious recipes using the company’s products. The recipes are perfect for those that don’t like weighing exact quantities and don’t want to spend too much time on cooking.

  1.       A 3-Stage Raw Vegan Cheesecake

First thing you will need is one packet of Jumble Bee Magnificent Mixed Nuts, which you will base-crush and blitz with half a packet of Crazy Jacks soft apricots and two to three handfuls of Jumble Bee Blissful Banana Chips. Press it into a coconut oiled medium sized tin and put it in the freezer for about one hour.

The next step is the Cashew Cacao. Soak three handfuls of cashew nuts in two tablespoons of melted coconut oil for five minutes, then blitz it with half a can of coconut cream, the juice of one lemon and one tablespoon of date syrup. Finally, stir in two tablespoons (or however much you prefer) of cacao powder and pour the mix onto the frozen base and refrigerate.

For the ‘creamy’ part, you will need to soak three handfuls of cashew nuts in two tablespoons of melted coconut oil for five minutes, and then blitz it with half a can of coconut cream and the juice of one lemon. Stir in one teaspoon of vanilla extract and the insides of one vanilla pod and pour onto the rest of it and refrigerate. To make things more interesting, you could also decorate it with strips of Crazy Jacks dried mango.

  1.       All in 1 Nutty Power Bars

For this delicious recipe, you need to crush one packet of Jumble Bee Terrific Trail Mix and blitz it with one tablespoon of melted coconut oil and three large handfuls of Jumble Bee Blissful Banana Chips. Stir in three tablespoons pf your chosen flour and add more melted coconut oil if the texture needs loosening. Press evenly into a baking tray covered in baking parchment and bake at 180oC for approximately 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  1.       Crazy Coconut Granola

The last recipe of the list is the easiest and fastest one. You need to crush half a packet of Jumble Bee Blissful Banana Chips with one packet of Jumble Bee Tropical Trail Mix and then melt two tablespoons of coconut oil and stir into mixture. Spread it out onto a lined baking tray and toast at 180oC for 15 minutes, stirring or jostling two or three times during oven time. That’s it!
