King George VI Weekend Takes Place at Ascot Racecourse

This weekend is the King George VI Weekend which takes place at Ascot Racecourse. On the 28th and 29th of July, Racegoers to the royal grounds will have the extra treat of being able to enjoy a bright and colourful range of completely customisable cocktails that will be available at The Juniper Garden Gin Bar. The bar is located in the Queen Anne Enclosure of the of the race course.

Throughout the race meeting, The Juniper Garden Gin Bar will be using a classic a inspiration and the basis for the uniquely tailored cocktails. The Collins will be served in a range of innovative ways, with the bar staff on hand to help the racegoers create their own gin-based cocktail.

The King George VI Weekend is known for being a race meeting that is bustling with vibrancy and colour, therefore it is a great opportunity for the bar to extend their cocktail menu and allow visitors to make their long drink cocktail as colourful as they wish. The Juniper Gin Bar allows the raceesr to tailor their drink to suit their mood and outfit even if desired.

The race weekend is well known for showcasing world class Flat racing with the experience of being at a typical English garden party. The meeting is also known for being one of the most prestigious events at the royal Ascot course other than the Royal Meeting. Being able to design your own cocktail will help to make the racegoers time at the event that bit more unique and special. Saturday the 29th of July is King George Day and is one of the most famous race days across Europe. The day is held in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s late parents. The main race of the meeting is the  King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and is a European mid-season middle distance championship.
